It is not quite so easy to find us however, once you have arrived, you will realize that all the efforts were worthwhile. Hvar can only be reached by sea, the best way is to board the ferry from Split to Stari Grad (you can access the timetable on http://www.jadrolinija.hr/), and then by car to Jelsa, turn onto a narrow curvy road via Pitve and through a tunnel to Zavala, which should take you about 20 minutes of leisurely driving.
